I might be mistaken, but I think DateTime.ToString has an overload that allows you to pass in a culture. For cases like this it’s appropriate to pass in CultureInfo.InvariantCulture, since you aren’t displaying the output (at least not directly).

That summarized my whole life. I will have to watch that again and again. Maybe I can absorb it enough to actually change!

It’s interesting that in many ways, my life and my life view parallels hers. I do feel that this techie generation has missed out on a lot of simple fun experiences and are very soft. But you don’t miss what you haven’t experienced.
Humans are pretty resourceful as needs be.

Personally, I think they screwed up Kahlan. Horner has potential, but Richard is supposed to be a big guy.

Interesting, as usual.
The musical was fun to watch- after the fact. If I’d been sitting in the food court, I’d probably have been VERY uncomfortable. (Jeff and Sarah say they’ll be in a grocery store or other public place and someone will start singing to the music in that place, hoping to be discovered.)
I wish more self-centered people would make those kinds of interview gaffes so you could eliminate them from the lineup. It’s very hard to choose and once someone is hired, quite often, you find out what they’re REALLY like. Spending 8 hours a day with someone like that is pretty miserable.
Shell shot- VERY COOL!

Maybe Selekta has OCD and can’t bear the thought of reading books handled by others with unknown sanitary habits.

I would like to peer over your shoulder on any given day to see how you browse. It amazes me all the stuff you come up with. I guess I fear computer sites that have sneaky plans for invading my cyber space so much that I am not comfortable browsing on it.

Yay for free shipping! I use it all the time.

Something like the sound princess is used in therapist’s offices all the time so waiting patients can’t hear what is being said in counseling sessions. Next time I go in, I wonder if I’ll have the urge to, well, you know!

I wonder how much of our tax dollars are supporting the rat scientists. Bet we won’t be laughing if we find out.

Cool log tree!

No, you can’t write it that way, but you can right it this way:
