My ear was bothering me a bit on Wednesday, but by Thursday afternoon the pain was unbearable. I couldn’t concentrate at all. It took me quite a while to find a doctor who had an opening on Friday, but I finally found one.

Friday, I worked from home until my appointment. The doctor said that I have a severe ear infection. I pretty much knew that before seeing him, but unfortunately, I can’t write myself prescriptions.

Though Thursday afternoon was the worst of the pain, it’s now been three days since I started my medication and it doesn’t feel any better. There’s some really gross stuff coming out of my ear, too. Not fun.

Molly is hating this because I just sit around with a horrible look on my face as the pain attacks my skull and there’s nothing she can do for me. Apparently, I can get quite grumpy as well.

Our third anniversary is on Wednesday and we are going camping this weekend. If not by Wednesday, I definitely want to be better by Friday. Otherwise, I’ll probably not be a happy camper.
