More Bailout Ridiculousness
I rarely agree with Michelle Malkin on anything, but today she made a good point.
The Senate bill is stuffed with earmarks…
- Film and Television Productions (Sec. 502)
- Wooden Arrows designed for use by children (Sec. 503)
- 6 page package of earmarks for litigants in the 1989 Exxon Valdez incident, Alaska (Sec. 504)
- Virgin Island and Puerto Rican Rum (Section 308)
- American Samoa (Sec. 309)
- Mine Rescue Teams (Sec. 310)
- Mine Safety Equipment (Sec. 311)
- Domestic Production Activities in Puerto Rico (Sec. 312)
- Indian Tribes (Sec. 314, 315)
- Railroads (Sec. 316)
- Auto Racing Tracks (317)
- District of Columbia (Sec. 322)
- Wool Research (Sec. 325)
McCain, Obama, and Bush are all talking about how IT’S AN EMERGENCY, WE MUST PASS THIS NOW!!! Yet, there was time to lump all this extra legislation into the bailout bill.
I like what Mark Steyn said: “If this is an emergency, hold the wool research. If it’s an emergency that’s got time for wool research, let’s chew it over for another few months.”
I’ve e-mailed each of Ohio’s Senators 3 times over the past couple of days to tell them why they should vote against the bailout bill. Voinovich is for it and Brown isn’t sure yet. I know the Campaign For Liberty has been ringing their phones off the hook all day.
How many people could be calling their Senators and telling them to vote FOR the bailout?

That's a typo, right? You don't want them to vote for the bailout, do you? Or have you changed you mind and drank the Kool-Aid?
Fixed.
No Kool-Aid for me, thanks.
